As seen in Episode 5 of Kirsties Handmade Britain on Channel 4

The three patterns below were used by a talented member of the Marchwood WI to decorate two items as competition entries at the New Forest and Hampshire County Show. I'm delighted to say that these items were seen in Episode 5 of Kirsties Handmade Britain shown on Wednesday 16th November. The instructions for making a glasses case using the Blue Tit and Goldfinch patterns can be viewed on the Channel 4 website.

With regret, due to increasing costs, I am no longer able to supply bags of beads to make my 'Bead a Card' patterns at a competitive price. The rising cost of beads and the quantity I need to keep in stock has been preventing me from creating any new beading on card patterns. With that pressure now removed I feel I can move forwards and start designing lots of new and exciting patterns for both beadwork and embroidery.

Here is a list of all the colour code numbers and some UK suppliers for the beautiful quality Japanese TOHO seed beads that I use so that you will be able to search for your own beads and I hope, continue to enjoy making my patterns. All the downloads have now been updated so you may see some changes to any active downloads in your Crafty Ferret on-line accounts.

A selection of 'Bead a Card' kits for some of my smaller patterns that do include beads will continue to be available in limited numbers from my Folksy shop.
