Information about Easy Beads kits
Easy Beads kits and colour charts are designed by Judith Drew of Crafty Ferret who is based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
All Easy Beads kits contain instructions for right and left handed stitchers.
Easy Beads kits are not suitable for children.
Because all of the cards photographed on the web site and on the kits packaging have been made by Judith, who is left handed, the beads slope to the left. If you are right handed your beads will slope to the right. This will not alter the appearance of your finished work.
Due to the ever changing availability of the materials needed to make up the Easy Beads kits, Crafty Ferret reserves the right to change the contents of the kits slightly from those detailed on the web site. Although this will have a minimum effect on the finished appearance of the kit you have chosen.
Due to the nature of cameras, computers and printers it is impossible to be 100% accurate when comparing website and printed photographs to the finished product, so some slight variations may be expected.
If you have chosen a kit that contains two bead colours which are very similar, one of the colours will be packed in a separate bag. It is suggested that you keep these beads separate while you are working, as in some lighting conditions it can be difficult to tell them apart.
The colours on your colour chart have been carefully chosen to match the beads in your kit. Unfortunately it is impossible to be 100% accurate. Particularly when representing gold and silver.
Some of the new Easy Beads kits now include a small amount of backstitch using stranded cotton thread/floss. This is added to enhance the designs and to add certain details. For these kits you will require a tapestry needle.
